Comfortable stay in a central location
We spent a night here after a wedding and loved how close it was to everything in Keswick. The check-in at the bar was a bit funny, but the staff helped us with bags, so that was nice. The room was cozy, but it got super hot at night. Breakfast was fab with table service and fresh coffee!

My short stay was lovely, especially with the sweet little doggy treat bag and all the cozy drinks provided in the room. Perfect for relaxing, I also enjoyed the peaceful garden and the comfy lounge area. Just a heads-up, breakfast was tasty but served on cold plates, so everything cooled down quickly. 😊

Nice breakfast options featuring fresh pastries and local ingredients brought a good start to the day. The location provided easy access to nearby attractions, allowing for quick adventures without much hassle.
The Classic Double Room felt cramped, almost like a sardine can, making maneuvering around the furniture a chore. The shower was not only small but also had a weak pressure, feeling more like a drizzle than a refresh. Not to mention, the lack of daily cleaning left the room feeling unkempt by the end of our stay. The air conditioning barely made a dent in the warmth, resulting in some uncomfortable nights. while it had its charms, it certainly didn’t live up to expectations given the price point.

The small double room was quaint but a bit snug for two people. I appreciated the nice decor and that the window opened for fresh air. The bathroom had quality toiletries, which felt upscale. No fridge was a bummer, but they provided fresh milk for tea on request. Otherwise, it was comfy and well-maintained. Ideal for solo trips, but I’d imagine it might feel cramped for couples. The overall vibe was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a short stay.

Perfect getaway for dog lovers
The staff here were incredible, treating my dog like royalty and even offering him a special dinner of mash, chicken, and gravy for just £1.60. Food was top-notch too, I had steak with a nice Malbec which really hit the spot after a long day.
It wasn't inexpensive, but honestly it was still reasonable for the fantastic experience.
